The Lou Gehrig's Disease Association of Southwest Florida, Inc. would like to invite you, your families, and caregivers to LGDA's 5th annual picnic. Please join us at the North Jetty Pavilion for dinner, entertainment and a good time at the beach.

Food: Snacks, dinner, dessert and beverages will be provided
Dinner is generously being donated by Caragiulos Restaurant

The pavilion provides shade, there is usually a nice breeze off the Gulf, the facility and restrooms are fully handicap accessible, and arrangements have been made for 2 beach wheelchairs. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol but glass containers are not allowed. There is a playground nearby for the children and you could plan on arrive even earlier to get a little beach time in.

For those who would like to help set up, please plan on arriving at 4:00 pm.

DIRECTIONS:
- From Tamiami Trail (US 41) in Nokomis
- Turn west on Albee Road go approx. 1 mi.
- at the end of Albee Road turn left onto Casey Key Road go approx. .5 mi.
- the large picnic pavilion (shelter) is on the right between two large parking lots just before
the road ends at the North Jetty.

If you have wheelchairs, walkers, limited walking, etc. you might want to be dropped off at the Pavilion. Go approx .7 miles to the end of Casey Key Road. Turn right and go past the restrooms. Just past the restrooms turn right and drive towards the picnic pavilion until you come to a sign that reads "Pedestrian Area....except loading and unloading". Go through this marked area, past the sign and pull up to the pavilion to drop people off.
